Hotel Amsterdam is perfectly located on the edge of the Amsterdam city centre. The hotel is located just outside the closed off area and is therefore continuelsy accesible by car while being very close to the festivities and main events.
Queensday is celebrated every year on April 30, it is a national holliday with all kind ofstreet celbrations, festivals, a party on and in every street, lane or alley. The Dutch dress up like during a carnival with the color orange, with reference to the appreciated monargy, as the main theme, together with red, white and blue the colours of the flag.
As allways you can trust we take care of all you need during your stay. So Hem Hotel went out on Queensday and handed out orange overalls to tourist who were unprepared to wear orange.
